The Golden Rules

Protect Your Seed Phrase

Your seed phrase never leaves your head or your paper backup. No airdrop, wallet support team, or 'verification bot' will ever need it. Anyone asking for it is trying to steal from you.

Never Send Crypto to Claim

'Send 0.1 ETH to receive 1 ETH back' was a scam in 2017 and it still is today. Legitimate airdrops will only require you to pay standard network gas fees.

Only Use Official Links

Fake claim sites are the #1 way farmers get drained. Only claim through links directly from a project’s official channels or trusted aggregators like AirdropsBee.

Farm With a Burner Wallet

Never hunt airdrops with the wallet that holds your life savings. Keep your main holdings in a separate hardware wallet (like Trezor or Ledger).

Common Scams to Avoid

Fake Claim Sites

Scammers clone real claim pages so well you can’t tell them apart visually. The URL is the only difference. They even buy Google search ads. Never claim through a random search result or a link posted in Twitter replies.

Drainer Signatures

Modern drainers don’t even need your seed phrase. One malicious signature (like a token approval or setApprovalForAll) can empty your wallet instantly. Read every signature prompt carefully.

Random Scam Tokens

Tokens showing up in your wallet that you never claimed are bait. Trying to swap or sell them will lead you to a phishing site. Just hide them and ignore them.

Hacked Official Accounts

Even verified project accounts get compromised and post 'surprise claim' links. Be highly suspicious of any drop announced out of nowhere with a rushed countdown attached.

Fake Support DMs

Nobody legitimate will DM you first. Not admins, not wallet support, not us. Anyone messaging you privately with an offer to help you claim is setting you up.

Recovery Scams

After a wallet gets drained, scammers often reach out offering to 'recover the funds for a fee'. On-chain transactions are irreversible. Recovery services are a second scam targeting victims.

Before You Claim Anything

  • Confirm the announcement on the project’s official site or X account—never through a reply or a DM.

  • Cross-check the drop on AirdropsBee. We carefully link only to official claim pages.

  • Check the URL character by character before connecting your wallet.

  • Read the signature request. If your wallet warns you, reject it immediately.

  • Ignore countdown pressure. Urgency is the scammer’s favorite psychological tool.

If you think you’ve been drained

Speed matters. Move whatever is left to a fresh wallet from a clean device immediately. Then, revoke all approvals on the compromised wallet using a tool like Revoke.cash. Treat that compromised wallet as burned and never use it again.
